Aggregate Space Gallery Gallery
Aggregate Space is an artist-run gallery located in West Oakland. Aggregate’s mission is to provide access to artists driving innovation with sculptural and digital media and whose breadth of work evokes conceptual rigor and advanced ideation processes. We strive to maintain innovation in the arts by providing the necessary space for artists in a professionally-outfitted facility equipped with a fabrication shop, design studio, and screening room.
Art on 25th Street
Up to a dozen creative spaces located on the block of 25th street between Telegraph and Broadway stay open late on the Third Thursday evening of each month.

Backstock Gallery Gallery
Backstock Gallery is a new contemporary arts project space focusing on exhibiting work by emerging Bay Area artists. Situated in two unused back rooms in Oak Common, a retail concept store in Oakland, CA, Backstock Gallery provides exhibiting artists with the creative space needed to explore new ideas without the pressure of creating work to sell.
Blackball Universe Gallery
Originally founded thirteen years ago as a record label, Blackball Universe (BBU) has since grown into a multimedia creative collective which includes artists, musicians, writers, film authors and producers. Last year, BBU founded the Blackball Universe Gallery as a space for inspiration and creative connection. The gallery hosts local and visiting artists with a wide variety of styles and mediums.

Classic Cars West Gallery
Classic Cars West is a 13,000 sqft boutique vintage car showroom and multi dimensional gallery / art space.
We feature new artists monthly as well as large scale installations, sculpture, multimedia and music presentations in our outdoor garden exhibition area. We also feature one of the largest cyclorama photography walls in the Bay Area. The space is also available for a variety of special events.
Come down to our beer garden every First Friday and enjoy local craft beer, wine and sausages served by Commonwealth Cafe and Pub.

Krowswork is a video and photography gallery/project space established in 2009 to nurture emerging artists. Oakstop is a community focused art gallery that exhibits work from local and emerging artists. The dedicated gallery space is housed within a larger shared working environment for artists and creative entrepreneurs, providing a unique backdrop for rotating solo and group exhibitions. PHOTO is a dedicated gallery space for fine art photographic prints in the East Bay. Although we do show nationally recognized artists, and some vintage prints, our mission is primarily to show the work of Bay Area photo-based artists. We feature both group shows and solo shows in a wide variety of photographic processes. Artists shown at the gallery are accomplished photographers and skilled printers, whether using digital technology, traditional darkroom methods, or alternative/antique processes.

Pro Arts Gallery
Supporting the arts within communities by serving the ongoing needs of artists. Pro Arts provides critical access to contemporary art in the region and serves as a regional hub for arts activities, independent curated exhibitions, advocacy, arts education and capacity building artist services. We produce 15 exhibitions annually, exhibit over 500 artists, and reach an annual audience over 72,000.

Studios 11 Gallery
Studios Eleven holds eleven individual artist studios, a Gallery and large communal space. Formerly adjacent to Swarm Gallery and founded by Svea Lin Soll and Merritt Sher the studios now continue under a new name and the front gallery space has transformed into lOAKal – Art Gallery and Boutique. Conveniently located in the Ironworks District near Jack London Square, Studios Eleven promotes local artists with monthly exhibits, as well as frequent music and live art programming.
The Great Wall of Oakland Project Space
Since 2006, the Great Wall has been illuminating the city with large-scale projections of exciting video art and film from around the Bay and the world.
Every first Friday during OAKLAND ART MURMUR, the Great Wall of Oakland, a 100’x100′ projection installation, illuminates the Uptown District with cutting-edge motion art from around the world. Thousands of Bay Area art fans descend upon the area to check out this one-of-a-kind site.
